Forest Bathing
🌿 The Benefits of Forest Bathing

At Avalon, we believe deeply in the healing power of nature. Forest bathing—known in Japan as shinrin-yoku—is the simple, mindful practice of spending time in the forest, slowing down, and fully immersing your senses in the natural world.

Unlike a hike or workout, forest bathing is not about distance or pace. It’s about being present. Listening to the birdsong, feeling the breeze on your skin, and noticing the dappled sunlight through the trees. Research shows that this gentle, grounding practice can reduce stress, boost mood, enhance focus, and support your immune system.
