Mission 9/11

On September 11, 2001, two aircraft crashed into the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center complex in New York City.

The Twin Towers were demolished along with Building Seven, a few hours later. Larry Silverman collects on an insurance policy for the buildings taken out 6 weeks earlier, that specifically covers terrorist attacks.

In addition, there is a rocket attack on the Pentagon and Flight 93 is shot down by a F-16 fighter.

Who held the insurance for the Twin Towers terrorist attack? and How much did he receive from the insurance policy?

Just months before 9/11, the World Trade Center's lease was sold to Larry Silverstein. Silverstein took out an insurance plan that 'fortuitously' covered terrorism. After 9/11, Silverstein took the insurance company to court, claiming he should be paid double because there were 2 attacks. He won, and was awarded $4,550,000,000.

Late in the morning of the Tuesday that changed everything, Lt. Heather "Lucky" Penney was on a runway at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and ready to fly. She had her hand on the throttle of an F-16 and she had her orders: Bring down United Airlines Flight 93.

The day's fourth hijacked airliner seemed to be hurtling toward Washington. Penney, one of the first two combat pilots in the air that morning, was told to stop it.

What type of aircraft allegedly shot down United Airlines flight 93?

Who was the BBC presenter that reported on the collapse of Building Seven, before it happened. How many minutes before the actual collapse.

When did Building Seven "fall down" and what was inside the building?

At the time of the September 11, 2001, attacks, Salomon Smith Barney was by far the largest tenant in 7 World Trade Center,  which included floors 28–45 and the United States Secret Service.  Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) shared the 25th floor with the IRS.The clandestine CIA office was revealed only after the 9/11 attacks.)

The post says, “An astounding video uncovered from the BBC archives showed that BBC reported the collapse of WTC Building 7 over 20 minutes before it fell at 5:20 p.m. on the afternoon of the 9/11 attacks. The incredible footage shows BBC reporter Jane Stanley talking about the collapse of the Salomon Brothers building while it remains standing in the live shot behind her. Shortly after this ‘reporting error,’ BBC cut the interview short.”
