A thought I had this morning was - what if the Ascension process could be seen as a graduation from one school to another, like when someone graduates from Kindergarten (Civ level 0) to Primary school (Civ level 1) for Humanity as a whole, but some of us maybe skipping levels. Jumping from 3D to 5D or higher - 6D /7D, is like going from Primary school to 6th Form or even University.
