Zionism Explained in Two Minutes

When I saw the media witch hunt about Gary Lineker’s now-deleted post about zionism, I sensed a storm coming — not just online, but in the realm of ideas. So I paused. And I researched. What I found is:.
Zionism is not a religion. It's not Judaism. And it’s not synonymous with the Jewish people. Zionism is a political ideology, a worldview — one that has evolved over time and taken on various meanings. To many, it simply meant a homeland for Jews after centuries of exile and trauma. But if you look deeper, you will find a much more layered picture.
In spiritual terms, Zionism could be seen as the belief that not just Israel, but the entire world, should ultimately be ruled from Jerusalem. This version could be called Rothschild Zionism This idea has ancient roots — going back to King Solomon, his temple, and the idea of divine kingship. It winds its way through history via esoteric traditions, through the Templars, through Freemasonry, and into modern expressions of globalism.
Some critics argue that this worldview has been co-opted by a small group of powerful individuals — who claim to speak for Jews but, as it says in the Bible, “those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan (Rev 2:8-9).” These are heavy words, and I share them not to provoke, but to clarify: many real Jews have spoken out against Rothschild Zionism and the crimes committed in its name.
What makes this topic so difficult is how easily criticism of Zionism is confused with anti-Semitism. But they are not the same. Zionism is a political and spiritual idea. Judaism is a faith and culture. Criticising one is not an attack on the other — unless we allow false narratives to confuse them.
This blog isn’t a full history or final word. It’s a moment of reflection. And my conclusion after deep contemplation is this: Zionism, like all worldviews, must be examined — not worshipped, not demonised, but understood.
Because truth matters. And the truth is: it's complicated.
