Introduction to this blog

Updated: Nov 8, 2020

The Great East window of York Minster is a truly an English masterpiece. You could see it as art or as a testament to Christian belief or a prophecy for these times.

For me, it is an inspiration to contemplate eschatology, or the study of end times.

The picture above shows the window from the outside. You can see its beauty along with the geometry. The very top is called the tracery. Below the Tracery, there are three windows each within three arches making a 3 x 3 grid. I have spent many hours contemplating this the three within three. As anybody who has studied Tesla mathematics knows the importance of 3, 6 and 9. I believe this window exemplifies the beauty of the sacred geometry of threes.

The main sources of information for the blog are taken from

  1. A great website that allows you to navigate to each panel. Most of the images in the blog are taken from this website - www.stainedglass-navigator.yorkglazierstrust.org/window/great-east-window

  2. A book written by Sarah Brown - The Great East Window of York Minster, An English Masterpiece.

  3. A book by Barbara Marx Hubbard - The Revelation, Our Crisis is a Birth

  4. My own intuition as the the meaning of the Book of Revelations.

My intention with this blog is provide you with a personal perspective of the End Times or the Apocalypse and where we are currently.

Note:

The labeling system for the panels used in this blog comes from that in the book by Sarah Brown.
