About
The Root Challenge is to play 4 random factions in a random order and win one after another against the other factions as AI opponents on the Hard setting.
There is also an "Ultimate Challenge", where to win you need to win the basic Root Challenge three times in a row i.e. 3 x 4 (=12) games in succession. As this is very hard to do against AI on the hard setting, there is a "normal" version of the Ultimate Challenge. See the Expansion page for details.

If you lose with one of the factions, then the challenge has failed.
The Root Challenges
Requirement for Base Challenge:

Computer that can take a screenshot (eg Windows 10 or Mac).

Digital Root game (Dire Wolf Digital) running on Steam or other platform

Email (to send in screenshots) to RootGameChallenge@gmail.com to claim prize.
Requirement for Ultimate Challenge:

As Base Challenge plus purchase of the Riverfolk, Underworld and Marauder expansions running on Steam or other platform
I have asked Dire Wolf Digital (the creators of the online game on Steam) whether they can create an achievement that would be given to players that complete the Root Challenge.

Optional prize for successfully completing the challenge
In the meantime, the way to claim the prize of £11.39 (the price of the steam version of the game), you need to send in 5 screenshots for the Base Challenge to RootGameChallenge@gmail.com. The screenshots are as follows:

Start screen - showing the date and time (Note 1)

Each winners screen - showing date and time = 4 screenshots (Note 2)

Notes
1. Start screen to show that the game was on hard setting with 4 random factions (and autumn map with starter deck)
2. Winning screens - The winning screens will have You as the winner.
3. All four games to be played in 1 hr 40 mins in total (and average of 25 mins per game).
