Update on design

After the playtesting, a major overhaul has been made to game mechanics to streamline it while still retaining the key ideas of black hats vs white hats, the balance represented by the Tai Chi dial - now as Alpha and Omega tracks, plus deck building and area control.

The game now has two money systems - M0 and M9. The Money flow can be viewed as a flow from supply via Asset cards (banks) to pay for black missions and placed in M9 Money pool. Activated Heroes transfer the M9 Money to the Global Repository where the money can be used to pay for white missions where the money is returned back to supply.

M0 Money is used in the buy action to buy asset cards, mercenaries or items (artefacts / crystals).

The names M0 and M9 come from the categorisation of money by financial institutions. M0 is used for coins and notes (and deposits at central banks), while M( represents all other types of "money" i.e. so called fake money used by the Kabal and cannot be used in the banking system without allocation numbers.

In addition, an AI player has been designed. It is called Nemesis and can play as either a white hat or black hat to act as the opponent for players.

The game is being built on Table Top Simulator (on Steam). The workshop and steam group links are:

Finally, rules explanation videos are being created with the help of Chatgpt and other AI aids such as text to speech.
